In this film, meet Yannis Mpisiritsas, a farmer from Western Macedonia who runs a farm with livestock and an adjacent #biogas plant. With the help of NOMAD, he is able to process the digestate from his small AD plant into high quality organic #biofertilizer that can be used without damaging the soil.
Some of our Greek demo researchers will explain how the NOMAD trailer works, and you’ll learn about this breakthrough solution that could help to revitalize the economy of Western Macedonia and support sustainable agriculture.
